You might try making your "home" page one of the websites your child likes. A couple of suggestions are http://pbskids.org/, http://atv.disney.go.com/playhouse/index.html, http://www.uptoten.com, or http://www.starfall.com

To do this in Internet Explorer, go to Tools/Internet Options. Under the General Tab in the Home Page box, type the address of the website. Then click on OK.

This way, as soon as the Internet is launched, your child will be at an appropriate website!
