Grade 2 - Elstein

Welcome to Mrs. Elstein's 2nd grade page.

Last Week of 2nd Grade

It probably seems like just yesterday your little one was starting Kindergarten and now your baby is entering 3rd grade.

Can you believe it???

It has been a privilege to teach your child

and be a part of  his/her life!

·        Dino Dig- Thank you to all the parents who attended Dino Dig to take pictures.  There were many opportunities for amazing photos.  If you have any pictures to share with parents that couldn’t make it, please send those in or email them to the parent.  I know the families would greatly appreciate this.  Thank you to the parents who stayed to help run the booths.  There is nothing like Dino Dig.  It is a great experience for the students and one they will never forget.  Thanks again for your help and support of just being there for the boys and girls.  What a fun day!

I must take a few minutes to thank each of you for a wonderful year! Everyone has played a part in making this year a great one.  I appreciate those of you who kept a smile on your face, wrote sweet notes to brighten my day or your child’s day, always pushed your child to do his/her best, arrived on time so that your child could feel relaxed and together, spent time checking homework and reading my website, volunteered without hesitation, made sure your child went to bed on time and had a healthy breakfast, and always supported your child and me in any way that you could. All of these things contributed to an amazing year!

While this week is a very exciting one, it is also a very difficult one.  I have grown to love each student in this class.  Everyone brought something of value, and helped to make us a “Family." Each child holds a special place in my heart and always will.  I hope I have touched each of you in a positive way and have made a difference somehow, some way.    I will miss each of you!  Have a wonderful summer. I wish you the best in 3rd grade and always. I will never forget this special group of boys and girls!  I am sad...

Each child is incredible in so many ways.

Keep reaching for the stars.

Love to each of you.

Thank you for a memorable year!

Sincerely,

Tonya Elstein
