If students are to learn to use their creativity, they must be encouraged to seek different ways to approach the problems they will encounter.  Innovations come about by examining situations from many points of view.  It is important that students not be limited in seeking possibilities.  Though it might be getting old from overuse, the phrase "out of the box" might be an appropriate description.

The students at Hendricks Day School are encouraged and enabled to develop their creativity and imagination.  A multitude of opportunities are available through music, art, class projects and presentations, and the Academic Fair.
