(3's & 4's)
"Summertime is FUN time"
This camp runs from June 7th through July 30th. Camp hours are 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. Our weekly themes will include:
- Friends in the "Ocean"
- Fun in the "Sun"
- A "Taste" of Summer
- Happy 4th of July
- "Sand" Creations
- "Flip Flop" Fun
- Searching for "Seashells"
- Hendricks Luau
All weeks include: circle time, art/crafts, water time in a toddler pool, outside play, rest time and an afternoon snack.

YMCA/Hendricks Day School Summer Camp
(ages 5 and up)
Week 1- June 7th-11th Wilderness Camp
Wilderness Camp is an adventure-filled week where your child will learn about the great outdoors, how to use a compass, basic first aid and learn about animals they may find along the way.
Week 2- June 14th-18th Weird Science
Weird Science week is your science project on steroids. It combines innovative science projects, creativity challenges, outdoor games and character development.
Week 3- June 21st -25th Ooey, Gooey and Slimy too!
Get ready for a wacky week of icky, sticky, silly stuff that you create and take home. This isn't for the light hearted; it goes way past your school science project! Come dressed to get dirty.
Week 4- June 28th-July 2nd Hip Hop till you drop!
This week is for everyone! The campers will experience all kinds of dance from Hip Hop to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. It will be a great time for kids of all ages!
Week 5- July 5th-July 9th Y life on Deck!
Take a cruise on the Y ship and experience the wonderful world under the sea! Cruise through the week with our ships cruise directors and enjoy the activities both on the ship and in the water.
Week 6 July 12th -16th Around the World in 5 Days!
Take a trip around the world! Every day the campers will experience the sites, smells, tastes and traditions from countries around the world. This week will be filled with costumes and parties that represent the countries we visit.
Week 7- July 19th-23rd Music Camp
With the Leadership from the artistic team of the Jacksonville Children’s Choir, the campers will explore the fundamentals of healthy singing techniques and perform music of many different cultural traditions. In addition to classes, the day is filled with outdoor games and fun group activities.
Week 8- July 26th-30th IT’S A SURPRISE!
Each Friday we will have a Family Fun night showcasing the camps highlights from the week.
