If you are like most concerned parents, you recognize that choosing a school for your child is an extremely important decision. A mistake could take years to discover and even longer to remedy. Is the campus a safe place? Our campus provides limited access during school hours and is well-lit in the evening.
What is your academic tradition? Hendricks has been recognized for more than thirty years as an institution that graduates students who are prepared to enter and be successful in any high school program of their choosing.
Are your teachers certified? Our teachers have current certificates issued by the state of Florida.
What are your class sizes? Elementary classes are limited to twenty students. Middle school classes are limited to twenty-five students. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten class are staffed with a certified teacher and an assistant as needed.
What is your grading policy? Our grading policy is consistent with those of other area schools.

Where do your graduates matriculate after leaving Hendricks? Graduates attend Episcopal High School, The Bolles School, Bishop Kenny High School, Bishop Snyder High School, St. Johns Country Day School, The Providence School, Stanton College Preparatory High School, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Paxon School for Advanced Studies, Bartram Trail High School, and other local schools of their choice.
What, if anything, does your curriculum provide that would set it apart from other schools? We concentrate on teaching our students how to think critically, to solve problems, and to make good decisions based on analysis of evidence and facts. Schools are not limited to an academic atmosphere. How do you address other needs of the students? To meet our commitment to develop well-rounded children, we also offer a structured character education program that encourages the students to "do the right thing." Hendricks also provides opportunities for middle school students to participate in an interscholastic athletic program for boys and girls. We field teams in various sports throughout the school year. Furthermore, we strive daily to encourage them to meet the high expectations we have for them.
How about extracurricular activities? A variety of clubs and organizations exist to give students exposure and experience in community service, student government, music, art, and more.
Intangibles? Hendricks provides a first-class education in a family atmosphere. Students, teachers, parents, and visitors feel welcomed and valued as they interact with each other on campus.
